IT 328 - Assignment 1 (Midterm)

I will not be around this coming Monday, January 18, 2009 and I would like to leave this assignment for your SQL Statements programming. Please search for the following (if possible, try to get this from books, journals, or thesis papers rather than from Internet sources):

• Relational Databases (formal definition, implementation, and provide an example diagram from any database system that shows a relational type of database)
• Database Security (how data encryption can be implemented in databases and the purpose of security issues)
• SQL Server (search for some similarities and the advantage of SQL server in MS Access database)

Write your research on a one-whole yellow pad paper. For your questions and clarifications, just send your mail to the previously said e-mail addresses. Due date will be on January 20, 2010.
